Working in the Chicagoland far south suburb of University Park, just east of I-57, the team created a vision for comprehensive growth to guide all future redevelopment in the Village.
The village center is sited within an ecologically sensitive area, and the concept plan embraced the local environment, interweaving wetlands and open space within a mixed-use development of residential, retail, and commercial. Oriented for pedestrians, the plan accommodates a variety of public transportation modes.
