A Cherished Downtown
Analyses are being conducted and recommendations are being prepared regarding land use, market, parking, and historic elements for Downtown Glen Ellyn’s preliminary preferred plan.
Part of the planning process has included a remote “Main Street Design Studio”, where TBS set-up a temporary studio in a Downtown Glen Ellyn storefront, allowing shoppers, commuters, and passers-by to drop in and discuss their ideas for the future of the Downtown with the design staff. In addition, a nine-day online survey gathered public opinions regarding the two preliminary concept plans for the Downtown.
