Zion Market Square

Zion, Illinois

A downtown node in a unique city

A north side Chicagoland community, Zion was founded in 1901 as a utopian society by Dr. John Alexander Dowie. It was a planned community, with the major east-west streets and two diagonal streets leading directly into the town center.

Today, TBS is redeveloping various projects including the Market Square, which is a 500,000 sq foot mixed use building designed to engage the existing context and provide a landmark downtown anchor and activity node. The building has a combination of commercial and residential uses. The residential component features a mix of walk-up townhomes, condominiums, and hospitality rooms.

Development Highlights: $80 million, Commercial/Office, Condominiums, Hospitality, Townhomes, 700 structured parking spaces
