Jan was raised in the Chicago area and has decided to make it his long time home. Jan enjoys venturing out with his family to take advantage of the many local events and attractions throughout the area. Having a long term interest in the region has guided how Jan views potential development projects.
Jan Morel, PE
Vice President, Development and Acquisitions
Mr. Morel has over 13 years experience in the real estate development field. Currently, Jan leads the development and acquisitions team for Town Builder Studios with experience in commercial, residential, industrial, and public projects. His area of expertise is development project management, entitlements, financial analysis and engineering.
On a typical project, Jan’s focus is on financials of the project as well as putting together a team of consultants that can attain the goals of the development project. Leading a team of experienced individuals and consultants and building the neighborhoods of tomorrow bring him the most satisfaction.
In 2010, Jan completed his MBA at DePaul Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and is a active member of the DePaul Real Estate Alumni Association. Recently, Jan was included in the Real Estate Center’s brochure.
