Mark Hansen, AICP
Project Manager
Mr. Hansen is a senior level executive with over 25 years experience in designing and developing properties, and master planning cities and communities in the South Florida and Northeast Illinois markets. Mark, as Regional V.P. and General Contractor, was also responsible for the acquisition, entitlement, development, and construction of over 2,800 class ‘A’ mixed use and garden apartment units in the Florida coastal areas. In the public sector, Mark was involved with the creation and adoption of one of the first Comprehensive Land Use Plans in the State of Florida. Later, as the Transportation Planner for the Planning Council, he worked on the enactment and enforcement of the Transportation Element of the LUP.
In developing and managing large scale and infill projects, he has investigated, contracted, and constructed a variety of community products and analyzed the profitability of these projects. Mark is also a General Contractor, Real Estate Broker, and a Certified Planner.
